Dedicated to the memory of Anne Phillips

On the morning of the 6th October, our Mum Anne Phillips passed away peacefully at St Luke's Hospice in Basildon.
Only one month earlier she had been diagnosed with four types of cancer.
At no point after she received that terrible news did she complain, bemoan or even get angry.

Her only concern was the wellbeing of me, my sister Claire, Mum's long term partner Ronnie and all of their grandchildren Ruby, Jack, Johnny and Ella.
She wanted to make sure we were all going to be ok while she was ill and more so when she had gone.
She didn't give a thought to herself at all.

This tribute page is for family and friends to remember Anne and post stories, messages and even photos so that we can all help keep her memory alive.

Unfortunately due to Covid we can only have 30 people at the funeral so we have set up a webcast which you can all log into and be part of the service...here is the link.

Her funeral will be at Basildon crematorium at 3pm on Friday the 23rd October.

Mum was very keen that people didn't buy flowers, instead preferring a donation, however small.
St Luke's Hospice looked after Mum with great dignity and kindness and they are in desperate need of funds.
Please see the link at the top right of this page.

Right up to the end Anne was funny, matter of fact, bossy but mostly loving, caring and very brave and that is how we will remember her.

MUM WE LOVE YOU TO BITS AND WE WILL NEVER FORGET YOU XXX
